Nitro loves to curl up on the couch nearby you of an evening and have a chat about the day. He really does talk to you - just like the dog in the famous video. He is super smart and sociable, so a home where he can have lots of time with his humans would be ideal. And a doggy playmate who enjoys playing chasey would be the icing on the cake for him and wear off some of that excess energy as obviously, greyhound makes up a large part of his mix. In return, Nitro will make you laugh at his goofy antics and conversation.

Nitro’s foster carer says he is absolutely gorgeous. He came to us scrawny and malnourished, with his hip bones sticking out after being abandoned and left to starve. He’s now put on lots of condition, is still developing muscle and is a happy, loving boy. He responds well to disciplined, strong leadership, and has good recall when off lead. This boy loves to run and would make a great exercise buddy. With those long legs, he can jump 1.2 metres so high fences will be essential. He could accidentally bowl young children over with his enthusiasm but would be brilliant with teenagers. He makes a good watchdog as he barks at anything unfamiliar but is never aggressive.
