About Jaffa ~ On Trial 11/7/15
My name is Jaffa and I'm a female 9 week old Border Collie x Koolie x Cattle Dog puppy. My foster mummy says that I’m beautiful and I have big eyes that will melt your heart. I’m the most confident puppy in my litter and like most girls I like to be the boss. I like to keep my brothers in line and be the centre of attention. I’m great with food and I’m not fussy at all. I’m happy to share if my brothers want some of my food or my toys too.
I’m in foster care with 4 children of all ages and I love to cuddle them and we play a lot. \ I love my 3 siblings and I like to socialize with bigger older dogs too. Because I’m bit of a princess, I’d be great with an adult dog who will become my role model and help teach me good doggy manners.
I will grow up to be a medium size girl and because of my breed mix I am very clever. I would really love a furever home with a young friendly playful dog as a playmate and a good role model. I'm only new to toilet training as I'm just a baby, so my new family will need to continue to train me on where to go to the toilet.
My foster mum says I would best suit a furever home with another dog or someone who is home a lot. I need to be allowed inside when my family is home and sleep inside. I am very social and too young to be left alone for long periods of time. I would love to go to puppy-training classes when I’m a little older as my foster mum says they will give me the best start in life. I will need plenty of affection, exercise, and training from my new family.
My brothers Domino and Cadbury and my sister Nestlé are also available for adoption.
If you would like to meet me, please contact Bron on morepaws4u@gmail.com (preferred) or call 0438 448 923. I am in foster care near Wyong on the NSW Central Coast, NSW and I am not available for adoption long distance or interstate (I will need to be returned to our Central Coast vet for desexing when I’m a little bigger).
My adoption fee is $450 and includes my desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and micro-chipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
