About Ziggy *On Trial in Her New Home*
*ZIGGY IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Ziggy is bursting with puppy love and playfulness! She’s looking for an owner who will spend the time helping her reach her full potential; will it be with you??
Gorgeous Ziggy with her soft, wavy coat has a wonderful temperament and is full of fun and energy. Being a working dog breed she is intelligent and learns fast, always wanting to please her humans. She’s the kind of pup who would excel at dog obedience classes and the fact that she’s food driven definitely helps with her training, having quickly learnt “sit” and to shake hands. As she’s in foster care on acreage she still needs to learn how to walk on a lead, however her eagerness for new smells and experiences would help accomplish this in a short time.
Ziggy loves other dogs though she can be a bit pushy and rough for the small dogs at her foster home so she would be better rehoused with a similar size or bigger dog who likes to play. She and her carers’ Blue Heeler pup rough and tumble for hours together before snuggling up for a well-deserved nap then doing it all over again! Cats are a curiosity to her and she just wants to make friends rather than harm them. Ziggy is playful around children so a home with older kids would suit her better as she may accidentally bowl the little ones over with her puppy exuberance.

Clever Ziggy is toilet-trained, sleeps inside at night and enjoys an indoor / outdoor lifestyle which we’d want to see continued in her forever home. She’s a friendly, affectionate pup who likes to cuddle up on the couch while you watch tv. With her working dog background Ziggy will require regular exercise - confinement to a backyard with no daily stimulation could result in destructive behaviour due to boredom, so she would benefit from a playful canine companion if you’re away for much of the day at work. Daily walks, secure fencing, obedience classes and toys to play with will make Ziggy very happy indeed!

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
