Rufus

Rufus is a fun loving, affectionate, active, happy go lucky boy.

He has lived with kids, cats and other dogs. He's good in the car and enjoys going for runs.

Since he's been in foster care, he's enjoyed the company of other dogs and young children - he loves both and interacts appropriately.
As he missed his early dog socialisation skills, he would still benefit from puppy school. He does know how to sit and follows simple commands like "down".
He walks well on a harness lead.
As Rufus spent most of his life outside, inside toilet training is still a work in progress. But he is an intelligent dog and learns very quickly in all areas. He does sleep inside overnight without any accidents, and usually scratches at the door to be let outside if be needs to go.
Ideally, Rufus would love an active family with kids and possibly another dog.
He would love a life where he is part of the family and not left outside alone ever again!
Rufus is a smoochy and cuddly boy, who just loves to be around people.
