About Liatris - A Blazing Star
Hello – my name is Liatris and I’m a kitten in foster care looking for my furever home. Did you know that a Liatris is a kind of flower – it’s a symbol for joy and happiness. It’s a kind of daisy called a “Blazing Star”– which is pretty much me! I pretty much run around the house like a blazing star – my foster mommy says I’m quite a cheeky, mischievous monkey. What can I say – I’m still a kitten and I love playing! I wasn’t always so happy and playful though. I came here from the pound, which was a real frightening place to me. I've been here in my foster home for a few months now, so I'm a little less of scaredy cat. My foster mum says I’m a real cutie pie, and am always up for a bit of fun adventure. I'm a bit shy around people at first. But I warm up pretty quickly especially if there is food involved. I do love my treats and will come running if I hear the shake of a snack box. I’m still a kitten and I can be a bit naughty, so you must be patient with me and remember have a bit of growing to do. My foster mommy finds it hard to stay mad at me when I am misbehaving – she says she can’t stay angry when she sees my cute face. It’s true - I’ve turned out to be a real looker. My photos don’t show how handsome I am – I was too busy hiding and playing! But I’m a handsome little tabby man with a white belly and big green eyes! I've been with my foster parents for a while now and I think I'm ready for furever home where I can get lots of food, lots of toys, lots of cuddles and lots of food. Did I say food twice? Well, I do love my food! I wouldn't mind another kitty friend – and I do like people, even little ones. I need a home where I can run around and play – I’m not one to sit around on someone’s lap all day. But if you take me home, I promise, you’ll always have someone to play with and you’ll never dine alone!
Medical notes
Liatris has no medical conditions that we know of. Because our cats are rescued from the pound or off the streets, we don’t know their entire background or complete medical history. All ages are an estimate only. All our cats come with all their vet work completed which includes desexing, microchipping, vaccinated and parasite treated.
Adoption details
At Brighter Future Cat Rescue, we rescue our cats off the street and would think nothing worse that they be placed back there and in danger of the perils of modern day society. We adopt to indoor homes only or homes with suitable cat runs. House-checks are a must and all our cats and kittens have meet and greets. A 2 week trial period is given to ensure that they are ideal for your situation and lifestyle.
