About Gizmo
My name is Gizmo and I've been living the dream in my foster home. When I arrived into Wally's care, I wasn't too sure about alot of things. But during my time here, I've learnt so much and been shown so much love and affection and now my foster mum says it's time she found me my very own home. She says I'm an absolute sweetheart, and she is sooo right!
I love people and get along great with other doggies. I'm in care with other foster dogs ranging from Collies to larger breeds such as Huskies, and we all get along really well. Being a working dog breed, I do need my excercise. I enjoy my walks and love to go for a run at the park or beach.
I know basic commands such as 'sit' 'stay' 'down' and will show manners at dinner time by waiting for the 'ok' to eat. If you want to get my attention, show me some food or treats...I will do anything you ask to get me some of that! Of course being a Border Collie and being such a smart breed, I would be easily trained if you wanted to teach me more commands.
I would like to find a home in a family environment or be a companion for someone with an active lifestyle. I love kids, adults and am dog friendly....cats on the other hand, I'm not sure about, so preferably not in a home with cats. I'm a charmer and would be quite content to hang out with my family, go on outings to the beach and park and have a snuggle at night time.
Vetwork - complete, so I will join your family desexed, vaccinated, wormed and flea treated. I'm in foster care at Wagga Wagga and am excited at the prospect of meeting you.

Please contact Vanessa via email only should you wish to meet Gizmo. Email will ensure a faster response.
When enquiring about Gizmo, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
