Max is on hold pending adoption.
Looking for a fun loving and playful companion dog then consider our Max who is a blend of German Shepherd and Labrador. \ Max is a four year old pure black male German Shepherd blend who has come into care and is a beautiful dog.
We have found him to be an affectionate and responsive dog who is full of life and just wants to please you. Max knows his basic commands and is in excellent health. Max would be best suited to an active family or as a companion dog to a couple who will walk him daily and ensure he has playtime and is made an integral member of the family.
Max has a beautiful sleep black coat and is a big boned boy so probably not suited to a young family with little children mainly due to his size and playfulness.
Max has shown himself to be social with his fellow rescue dogs but we would suggest not to go to a home with cats and pocket pets at this stage.
Max is a 30 kilo dog who will require daily exercise and not left as a yard dog.

Medical notes
Max is desexed, vaccinated C5, on heart worm prevention. He has been wormed and flea treated and will be professionally groomed prior to going to his forever home.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager Linda, who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog and Linda can be contacted on 0497 398 062.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
