Scooby~ Kelpie x Saluki (On trial 24/12/15)

Scooby 18 month Staffy x. He is a very playful, energetic, friendly boy who had found himself in a bit of a limbo. Originally requested to be rescued from Mudgee Pound by a third party, he was taken to the kennels on a temporary basis. Three months later, Scooby was still waiting for his rescuer to come and collect him.

As is evident from his profile pictures, Scooby is the most loving dog you could hope to meet. He loves other dogs and people and will fit in seamlessly to most family environments. So far, however, Scooby has not been introduced to cats but loves his canine foster sisters and gets along famously with them and has been very gentle with the new addition - an 8 week old puppy. It would be preferable for Scooby to be around older children, as he doesn't completely understand toddlers.

With his smooth coat that can easily be cared for with just a bath and the occasional brushing, Scooby is very low maintenance. Scooby has reached his full growth potential. He would be happy as an only dog given plenty of love, attention and exercise, but wouldn't mind sharing the love with other animals and older children in the home.

Recently surrendered (through no fault of his own) to Dog Rescue Mudgee, Scooby is looking for a permanent home.

He is de-sexed, vaccinated, free of fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered and his adoption fee is $250.
