About Isabel (Izzy)
Hi there, my name is Isabel (also known as Izzy), I'm a purebred GSD and 4 years old. I'm currently in foster care with other foster dogs, cats and also kids. Whilst I get along with most other dogs, I do prefer males and I love puppies! With some positive training and socialisation outside the home with new dogs, I'm sure I will come to learn that my 'humans' don't always require protection.
My favourite game of all time is playing fetch and would happily do it all day long. i love going for walks although do tend to pull somewhat on the lead, which of course can also be corrected with some training...I just tend to get a little bit excited, and although I don't see it as an issue, my owner would possibly prefer a more relaxed walk. I'm progressing well with toilet training as long as I have access to the outdoors, and am sure that with ongoing training I will totally get it in no time.
I know basic commands and as us GSD's are extremely clever, would certainly love to learn more if someone was willing to teach me. Due to the fact I'm a large dog, I will need 6ft secure fencing as us shepherds can jump! While you might be now thinking I'm a big tough girl with attitude, I must also warn you that when a storm hits, I will turn into a lap dog. I'm not going to lie when I say they scare the pants off me, so I would love a secure safe place to hide when that nasty loud thunder hits.
I will need ongoing training and Wally’s would love to help you with this. To kickstart my training, Wyong Dog Training club are offering 3 free training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au so please utilise this awesome gift that would benefit both you and me.
I've had all my vet work done, so will come microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and desexed and located in Gorokan on the Central Coast.

Happy healthy dog
Adoption details
Please contact Vanessa via email only should you wish to meet Isabel. Email will ensure a faster response.
When enquiring about Isabel, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
