About Emily
Hi there...Emily is my name, and I came into care with Wally's along with my 4 siblings. I'm being fostered in a home with lots of other doggies, of all shapes and sizes and love to rough and tumble with them. My foster family have been setting boundaries for me and showing me what's acceptable and what's not, and although I'm still quite small, I can stick up for myself if need be.
I've learnt to sit, stay and come when called, and I'm slowly learning that I need to go outside to do my business. This of course will require ongoing training when I head off to my new home as I'm still a baby and with so much to learn, it's hard to remember everything ALL the time.
In my foster home, I also have 2 kids to play with and snuggle and I'm pretty sure they adore me, as I do them. I'm an outgoing, playful and happy pup that would love to find a home where I was treated as part of the family and allowed to live both inside and outside with them. I would love to have a playmate to spend my days with, but they will need to be doggies that will tell me when enough is enough, as I can be at times a little dominant. If I was to be an only dog in my new home, I would learn to adjust as long as I was an active member of the family and included in outings to the beach, park or other dog friendly places.
Being a young pup, I will need ongoing training and Wally’s would love to help you with this. To kickstart my training, Wyong Dog Training club are offering 3 free training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au so please utilise this awesome gift that would benefit both you and me.
I'm currently in foster care at Hamlyn Terrace on the Central Coast and will be available for adoption from 3rd July.

Please contact Vanessa via email only should you wish to meet Emily. Email will ensure a faster response.
When enquiring about Emily, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
