Have you met the handsome Max! Max is the sweetest young man who is looking for his new forever home! He is a very friendly dog who loves being around people. Max would love to be a inside and outside dog but he definitely prefers the outdoors! He loves exploring and would benefit going home with a active family who is able to walk him everyday. He would also love going to the local dog parks and beachesApart from being the cute and loving Max also loves other dogs! He has made a few doggy friends here at the shelter and he would love it if he could go home with a friend to keep him company and play with. Max is a little unsettled when he is left alone so it is important that when he is left alone that he is left with items to keep him occupied. Things like toys kongs bones and raw chews are a good idea! Max is a very social boy however he can be a little nervous with close handling so he cannot go home with children under 10 years old. Being a maltese cross Max also has a coat that will need to be maintained and groomed regularly to avoid him developing matts.
