About Leia
Introducing Leia born on Star Wars Day, May the 4th, hence the name.
Leia is a little lady (for now) with plenty of personality, she knows what she wants and likes to tell you about it. Leia is an easy going pup and loves belly rubs, playing with her toys and sleeping for extended periods of time on her warm comfy bed. She follows her foster mum everywhere and likes to be close to you, but one look into her eyes melts your heart and you dont want to be anywhere else. Surrendered to Wally's at 4 weeks old with her brother because they were not getting enough nourishment from their mother, Leia was syringe fed and has grown into a beautiful healthy girl. Currently in foster care with her brother Luke, 3 other dogs, 3 kids and adults, Leia gets along with everyone and her little butt wiggle to greet you is hilarious. Leia has also met a kitten and was indifferent to the experience.
Leia, while a small puppy now, will grow into a very large dog and needs a confident owner that can give her leadership and training so she can be an active member of the community. Puppy school is highly recommended and ongoing socialising with adults, kids and other dogs would also be beneficial. Leia is still in the process of toilet training but she still has some accidents.
To kickstart Leia's training, Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 FREE dog training sessions
http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/. So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Leia.

Please contact Bianca via email only should you wish to meet Leia. Email will ensure a faster response.
When enquiring about Leia, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this pup may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
Leia is located on The Central Coast of NSW and will be available for adoption from the 14th July after she has received her 2nd vaccination and has been desexed.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
