About Francis
Expression of interest only. Please complete an adoption application form to formalise your interest in adopting Francis.
Please note: Francis would suit a multi dog and cat household.
Francis is a little teddy bear who loves to cuddle. He delights in snuggling up and getting comfortable. Francis has the most beautiful heart and likes to please. He has very good manners and never takes food from someone else's bowl; but will look at you lovingly hoping for a little extra if he feels like it.
Francis walks well on and off lead and has very good recall. He knows to sit at the curb and wait before crossing the road. He gets along well with other dogs, but does get intimidated by big dogs he's never met before.
Francis doesn't like sudden loud noises. He is getting better regarding his wariness but his new family will need to work with him to ease his mind when these situations arise. Being such a sensitive soul, Francis would love to have a nice quiet home. Francis would particularly like to live with another calm happy dog that will help him to settle in. Francis has requested that his new home have a doggy door.
The most adorable thing about Francis is his ability to snore. He makes the funniest sounds and noises. We are sure you will love it too.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you too as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.

We look forward to receiving your application.
