About Dexter - Senior Mini Foxy (on trial 25/7/15)
Hi, I am Dexter I am a little mini foxie who loves to cuddle on your knee, the closer the better. I am 6 years old age; I came into care with Josie and our two kids. I would love to find a home with Josie but since coming into care and living with 6 other dogs of varying sizes I have become very independent and I would be fine on my own. I can be a little possessive of my owner so an home with no other dogs, i really just want you to myself, or a home with Josie would be fine.
A bit about me: I am very handsome ( foster mum says so), I am a healthy active little guy. I love to be inside with you but I also do not mind spending time outside in the sun. I eat two meals a day and treats of course. I must sleep inside and have access to inside the house during the day.
My house training is coming along really well and all I ask is that you be patient with me.I love to go for walks and get really excited.
My ideal home would be a warm bed, 2 meals a day, lots of patience and cuddles.
A home with Josie or no other dogs.
Cats! you ask? yeah I like cats, too much mum says! so no cats please - I just cant help myself.
If you think you can give me a home where you can give me lots of love and attention and make me part of your home and in return I will be your best friend and every time you sit down I will be on your knee please contact my foster mum Victoria by email vdavies93@gmail.com.
Dexters adoption fee is $300 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. Dexter is in foster care in Sawyers Gully (near Maitland)

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
