Josie ~ Senior Foxy (on trial 3/7/15)

Josie is a very special little girl who loves nothing more than to be with her human. She is a mini Foxie who is 8 years old.

A little bit about me: When came into care I weighed 3.4 kgs I was frail and frightened with rotten teeth. My foster mum wrapped me in a bunny rug and took me home. She gave me a warm bed, her cuddles and lots of yummy food. Next step was a visit to the vet Dr Paul was so kind and gentle he put me in hospital and removed my rotten teeth and at the same time had all my “vet work” done whatever that meant. My foster mum was very worried about me as I was so frail and malnourished. It was a long road full of love and care. I came into care with my doggy friend Dexter and would love to stay with him but we are both very independent and I don’t mind if my new home is where I am the center of someone’s world.

I am currently living with 6 other dogs of varying sizes and we all get on very well. There are cats living here too, hmmm I love to chase them but mum says no! Sometimes it is just too much of a temptation so it would probably be best not to have a cat.

Can I tell you a bit about my ideal home?
A warm cosy bed please, preferably yours at night. Two soft meals a day (i have no teeth remember). I love treats and manage very well despite my lack of teeth.
I do not mind kids but prefer them over 10 years because I am so little young children can be a bit rough.I love to go for a walk and I am learning the correct way to walk on a lead.
I like to go for rides in the car.

House training …… I am learning and you can help me by taking me outside frequently and being patient with me, I am really trying hard but I have had the occasional accident. I like to nap during the day on the lounge or in my bed. I feel the cold and wear a cute little jacket to keep me warm and must have access to inside the house at all times.

Since being in care I have gained over a kilo I have bright eyes, a wet nose and cant wait to start the next chapter of my life with someone who will love me unconditionally.
