About Missy
G'day, I'm Missy! I'm a gorgeous Kelpie girl with excellent manners, a hugely affectionate nature and lots of youthful energy. :)
My perfect home is going to be with a family who has lots of time for me, and treats me as 'one of the pack'. I can't wait to have a big backyard to run around in, and a long daily walk or run. Also, just so we're clear - a nice comfy spot beside you on the sofa (or the bed!) is going to be essential!
My foster mum says I'm a super clever girl, and a very quick learner. I'm great on the lead and enjoy car rides too.
As far as kids go... I absolutely adore them! I'll be an excellent companion for children aged 10 and over, as my enthusiasm can sometimes get the better of me with younger tykes.
I reckon dogs are pretty great too, I'm very friendly and would be so happy to have a doggy playmate of my very own. Cats are also pretty interesting from what I've seen... but I haven't met any face to face yet. :)

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry/. Please use this link rather than the 'find out more' button on the pet's PetRescue profile.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
