Hi my name is Oakie and I'm an affectionate boy looking for an active family to call my own. I am looking for someone who loves walkies and will play soccer with me (it's my favourite!).I love playing with other dogs and making new friends so if you have a doggy friend at home please bring them in to ensure we will be best buds.When excited I do sometimes jump - for this reason I would like to go home with confident children. My coat is low-maintenance and only requires a quick brush when needed. I think small animals such as rabbits/guinea pigs are very exciting and for this reason I cannot go home with these.Obedience training is recommended and will help me become a model canine citizen. As I tend to pull while walking a training aid such as a Halti or harness will make our walks more enjoyable. I am scared of loud noises such as fireworks I will hide so my new family needs to be able to keep me safe during these times. In my previous home I was an outside dog only so a kennel outside to keep my away from the elements is a must. To keep me safe and secure I will need 5-ft fences with no holes or gaps.
