About Tezza ~ (Trial 9/7/15) Red Cattle X Shepherd Puppy
Tezza is an 8 week old, Red Cattle X Sheperd. She is a happy, active, and a playful little girl and loves to play with all sorts of toys and balls and her foster brothers and sisters.
Tezza has a beautiful nature and loves to frolic in the yard running around and bounding through the bushes when you and her puppy friends go with her, an absolute joy to watch. Walk inside and she loves to follow so she will be very loyal. Another dog would suit Tezza's playfulness or someone home often. She plays happily with all the 4 other dogs here and all toys, yet a constant check is required as to what little puppy mischief she is up to now. Occasionally you will catch her run past with a sock, shoe or paper of some sort. With her puppy humour and her puppy antics she is so cute and occasionally clumsy.
Tezza is learning about what the lead is for and will require puppy training classes with his new owners. Toilet training is coming along quickly and she is doing really well. As with all puppies a new home means new training as they become familiar with where the toilet is. This is easily achieved by taking her out on regular toilet breaks to start with.
She gets along well with the other dogs here (being a large, medium and small breed) and is learning the personalities of each as to what will be tolerated. She will greet you every time you walk in the door. At dinner she has no food aggression to the other dogs and even shared a bowl of puppy milk.
She has access to inside and outside during the day and she sleeps inside at night. Tezza needs plenty of affection, exercise, and positive training, and not to be left outside in a yard all alone. She loves to be able to come to you, snuggle up against you.
Toys are her favourite so many toys are highly recommended. We hope to find a forever home that will cuddle her daily for her entire life.
Tezza would suit an active family to accommodate her high energy levels. Puppy-training classes is highly recommended to give Tezza the best start to learning the best way to socialise and train this puppy.
For more information or to meet Tezza, please contact her foster carer Cathi on 0408 612 841 or email cathirosew@yahoo.com . Tezza is in foster care in Shortland, NSW (Newcastle) but is not available for adoption interstate.
