About Elsa *On Trial in Her New Home*
*ELSA IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* \ Meet irresistible Elsa! She’s one of a litter of healthy, happy puppies who were born in early March. Her mum is a Mastiff cross and her dad is a Red Heeler cross Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog so she’s a bit of a mixture.
Elsa has a friendly, affectionate nature and is used to being handled (cuddled!). She gets along well with her foster carers other dog just wanting to play or hang out. \ Even though she’s a little bit stubborn this clever pup has already mastered “sit”, “wait” and “down” as well as “shake” – it helps that she enjoys food especially treats which assists with her training! She’s eager to please her humans and loves a game of fetch even bringing the toy back. Elsa hasn’t spent much time on a lead as she needed to be fully vaccinated before getting out and about so will need some practice with this in her forever home.
Energetic Elsa is an enthusiastic pup who will play with you for hours and then happily curl up on your lap for a snuggle. She has her father’s stumpy-tail though we’re not quite sure where her soft, shaggy fur comes from as both her sister’s have smooth coats – it just adds to her overall cuteness! Elsa is always excited to see you when you get home and will “talk” to you all about her day if she hasn’t seen you for a while. She can be a bit wary when meeting new dogs although it doesn’t take long for her to be running around with them or curled up asleep with her new friend.

As Elsa is pretty-much housetrained and sleeps inside in a crate at night she would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle with a doggie companion to learn from. Being a young pup she will require ongoing obedience training as well as socialisation with other dogs so she grows up to have lovely manners. Daily walks, secure fencing, bones to chew on and toys to play with will make Elsa very happy indeed!!
If you’ve got the time, patience and love to bring up effervescent Elsa then please download and complete a SARG Dog Application form by following this link or by copying and pasting it into your browser: http://www.sarg.net.au/adopt-a-pet.html

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
