About Molly Jones
Meet Molly Jones, or as we like to call her, the pocket rocket! If you are looking for an inquisitive and lively companion, Molly Jones is your girl!
Molly Jones is looking for a family who have experience with a hound breed who will understand her beagle traits. She must be an inside dog where she can be a part of her new family’s everyday life. This is made easier by the fact she is an excellent car traveller and loves going for trips to explore new places. A beagle or two who are of similar size and enjoy play time are a must.
As she can be quite timid, she is not suited to a family with children (15 years+ ok).
As she is adorably small for a beagle, people are inclined to want to pick her up like a puppy. However, due to Molly Jones’ background she is not comfortable when picked up or hugged. Her furever family will understand that she needs her own space and that she is not a lap dog. However, in saying this, Molly Jones loves nothing more than to snuggle up next to you on the couch for a belly scratch or a good pat n chat!
A highlight of Molly Jones’ day is her daily walk where she can exercise her super ‘beagley’ nose. Intently sniffing paperbark tree trunks, investigating every bush in the street and inhaling possum trails are her favourite walking activities! Her new family will be quite active and be prepared to wander the streets daily! She also loves to stir up her foster brother and sister to play chasey and have a wrestle. The rougher and crazier, the better!
Molly Jones’ other big love in life is food. If you are eating, it is 100% guaranteed those beautiful big brown eyes will be gazing lovingly at your food, ever hopeful for a crumb or too!
Molly Jones is a beautiful soul who is ready and waiting with oodles of licks, snuggles and sniffs!
