Zena the Luck Dragon ~ (On trial 3/7/15)

Hi I'm Zena the Luck Dragon and I am an unusual and striking large mixed breed beauty. The minute you meet me you will be besotted with me as my personality is as lovely as my stunning good looks ( as all my human friends tell me !). \ I have fluffy ears and my hair is soft like a teddy bear. I'm supposed to be a mastiff cross and I'm definitely the size of a mastiff, however I've got some other breeds in my mix that my human friends just can't pinpoint - maybe Bull Dog or Amstaff with a bit of Border Collie or Maremma to give me my beautiful soft coat and fluffy ears? Whatever my breed mix, I am a big gorgeous love bug. People tell me that I look just like Falcor the Luck Dragon in the Neverending Story - so if you've always wanted a Luck Dragon then I'm your gal!

I'm 2 and a half years old so I'm fully grown in height. I am large in size and a gentle giant with a sweet and friendly personality. I'm out of that naughty puppy stage. I love people a lot and I'll be friends with everyone who meets me. I sit for treats (which I love a lot!) and I'm learning to drop too. I am calm and well-mannered when meeting people and I don't jump all over them. \ I wag my tail a lot and will lap up your cuddles and head and ear tickles (my ears are irresistible as they are so soft!). I have the biggest smile ever, and when you give me pats I close my eyes as I’m in heaven. My hair is so soft you’ll just want to squish me with cuddles all day.

I'm dog friendly and am quite submissive when meeting other dogs. I used to be at the pound where I found all the dogs scary when they barked, so as long as other dogs are nice to me then I'll love to be their friend. I've met both little and big dogs and I'm gentle with both. Ideally I'd like a home with another friendly doggy friend to play with, especially if you are a full time worker. I wouldn't suit a furever home where I'm out in the yard on my own all day as I'm too social and enjoy company from others. Because I'm a big girl I'll need good height fencing (eg 6 foot) to keep me safe and sound.

I'm not in foster care with children yet, however given my sweet nature if they want to be my friend then I'll happily return their love. I've meet a few children around 7 to 10 years old and I gave them big licks to say hi. I'm a very big girl so I might be best suited with slightly older children who are confident with my size. \ I'm very responsive on a lead and walk well so I will happily join you for a daily walk to explore the neighbourhood. I'm very curious about what's going on around me if we are in a busy place and I cope well being exposed to new surroundings. I'd love to go to doggy beaches or parks with you if you have any nearby that we can explore together.

My ideal furever home is one where you will love me for my big boofy size so if you love your doggies big then you're going to love me to bits! I need to be allowed inside when my family is home so that I can spend time with you hanging out. I would love to be able to sleep inside as my hair is relatively short so it's warmer for me. After being in a cold pound, I'm a gal who will appreciate the luxuries in life.
