About Buddy ~ Jack Russell (hold pending trial 6/7/15)
Hi I’m Buddy and I am a 3 year old Jack Russell. I have had a really nice time staying with my foster family but now it is time for me to find my own furever home. My foster Mum says that I am a funny little fellow. I have lots of energy and love going for walks so I can see what’s happening in my neighbourhood.
I am happy to be inside or outside the house and am at a good age because I have outgrown the puppy stage but have still got many years of love to give.
Even though I like to be around my family as much as possible I am content to stay at home if everyone has to go out.
I will need secure fencing though because if I get out of the yard I have no road sense and I am not very good at coming back when called. I can’t jump very high though so as long as I can’t get through any gaps I’ll be fine.
I have recently been desexed and vaccinated so I am ready to go just as soon as you realise I am the perfect little Buddy for you.
For more information or to meet Buddy, please contact his foster carer Alison on 0435 535 338 or email alisonmgreenwood@gmail.com . Buddy is in foster care in New Lambton, NSW (Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Buddy's adoption fee is $400 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
