About Nelly
My name is Nelly, and I'm a happy, loving, friendly, active Kelpie x who is hoping to find a family to call my own. I've just recently come into care with Wally’s and being fostered in a lovely home with another doggie friend, a 3yr old Border Collie.
Being a Kelpie, I am an active girl that loves walks, swimming at the beach and playing fetch, but also love cuddles. I'm great with dogs, and yet to be tested with cats/pocket pets. I'm quite a submissive girl and very gentle when it comes to food.
I would love to find a home where I had another active furry friend to keep me company while my family were out, somewhere where I am allowed to live both inside and outside as part of the family and a place to call home. I walk quite well on the lead, know how to sit, stay and wait for my food and my foster mum has been working on my recall, so am learning to come when called.
Wyong Dog Training club are offering 3 free training sessions when you adopt a dog through Wally’s, so please utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and me... http://dogtrainingclub.org.au/
With all my vet work complete, I am ready for adoption now and in foster care in Bateau Bay. Please contact Vanessa to arrange a meet and greet.

When enquiring about Nelly, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
