About Mr Whippy ~ Whippet (on trial 23/6/15)
Mr Whippy is a 5 month old whippet puppy. He is a beautiful soft white coat with brindle patches. If you want a character Mr Whippy is your man.
He is full of personality once you get to know him. At first he is shy and timid however after he gets to know you he is a funny little character who loves steal things. He never chews them just likes to take them into the backyard and admire them. He LOVES bones, big bones, little bones he is content chewing away all day long.
Mr Whippy has been sleeping inside with his foster brother. He is not toilet trained however is progressing well and with more training he will be toilet trained. Due to his size only be 7.4kgs he needs to be kept inside at night especially during the winter months. If not inside then outside with a warm coat, kennel and blankets. His only a thin boy and so he really feels these cold winter nights.
Mr Whippy adores other dogs once he knows they are friendly. He absolutely adores his big brother (a Great Dane x). He sleeps on top of him, shares his water, his food and his toys. Mr Whippy would really love to have a play friend as he gets anxious without his foster brother around. He loves to play tug of war and never win although he puts up a good fight. He is learning to walk on the lead nicely and with more training and positive encouragement will be perfect.
Mr Whippy is gentled natured and although hasn’t had exposure to children I am sure he would be fine. He does jump however he is only little and more training will stop this. He has been exposed to a cat once and didn’t show any signs of aggression. He still young and with supervision should be fine around cats.
If you would like an amazing, little friend with the cutest big ears and skinny little face then Mr Whippy is your man. He will have you in tears with his hilarious behaviours and will have your heart with his gentle nature.
