On Hold
Howdy, I'm Patches. I was surrendered to Lort Smith Adoption Centre after my owner went to live in a retirement home and could not take me with her. I am now on the look out for a new home with a quiet family that ticks all the boxes. I absoloutley love affection but am still coming to terms with being "picked up", I just dont feel safe being four paws off the ground at the moment, but i am learning. After a health check at Lort Smith, I was found to have FIV (feline aids) – this cannot be transmitted to humans or dogs but can be spread to other felines through blood and saliva. This is why I will need to be housed strictly indoors and would benefit from having a MEDIUM to LARGE sized home to run around in. I thrive on human interaction so would love my owners to accept the fact that I may try to snuggle up with them on the couch while we watch our favourite movies.
