Hello there! My name is Lana and I am a gentle young lass who is looking for a loving home to call my very own! I was surrendered to the shelter as unfortunately my previous owners could no longer look after me. I can be a little quiet and reserved at first with new people and in unfamiliar areas but once I am comfortable I have a loving personality and will brush up against you for pats and head scratches all day. I am best suited to a quiet and mature household with no young children as I may become startled with loud noises or fast movements. I love my safe spots such as boxes or enclosed beds where I can hide when I feel a little uncomfortable and my new owners should provide me with plenty of safe spots in my new household while I transition through the change in location and lifestyle. I have a sweet gentle nature and will smooch up to anyone once I am comfortable. As with most cats I am not very fond of being picked up all the time but I much prefer gentle pats or chin scratches or even climbing into your lap for snuggles and a snooze once I feel comfortable. I have lived with other cats before so I may feel more comfortable and ease into the transition to a new household having another cat around me so long as we are introduced gradually and never left unattended until we are completely comfortable around each other.
