Hi my name is Lindy and I am a gentle affectionate young girl who was surrendered to the shelter as unfortunately my previous owners could no longer look after me so I am now looking for my forever home! I can be a little quiet and shy when first meeting people but with a little bit of patience and maybe some yummy tasting food to entice me I come out of my shell in no time. I am best suited to a quiet and mature household with no young children as I may become startled around loud noises and fast movements. My new owners must understand that I may need a few weeks to settle into a home environment before my true personality shows. Once I am comfortable I have a loving curious personality. I love pats and cuddles and will happily climb into your lap for a snooze and some gentle pats. I am very eager to explore new areas at times and have a very curious side to my personality. I am still only young and will be very curious and intrigued by everything and anything I can reach so my new owners must keep all valuables out of my reach as I may accidentally knock them over thinking they are a play toy. I would greatly benefit from having plenty of safe spots to me to go to just in case I do become a little startled and to also help me transition through the change in area smoothly. I would also benefit from continuing my socialisation with interactive play toys and other cats and kittens. I have lived with other cats before so I may get along well with another cat or kitten.
