About Dennis the Menace
G'day, I'm Dennis. I was brought Lort Smith Adoption Centre for re-homing all the way back in November 2014! On arrival to Lort Smith, I was a mess! I had patches of hair missing from all over my face and neck and had quite a few scabs on my chin. I was found to be allergic to red meat - can you believe it!? There is only one selection of food that I am allowed to eat but this doesn't worry me at all as it's pretty yummy. I'm a lovely young cat with lots of affection to give and I love a good pat. The vets at Lort Smith have told me that I have FIV, this cannot be transmitted to humans or dogs but can be transmitted to other cats via saliva and blood. This means I will need to be housed as the only pet and live a strictly indoor lifestyle. This doesn't bother me though as it is safer for me to be indoors where I'm not at risk of eating something that I'm allergic to. If you believe you can provide me with lots of love and care then please come and say hello. I love visitors.
