Dennis the Menace

G'day, I'm Dennis. I was brought Lort Smith Adoption Centre for re-homing all the way back in November 2014! On arrival to Lort Smith, I was a mess! I had patches of hair missing from all over my face and neck and had quite a few scabs on my chin. I was found to be allergic to red meat - can you believe it!? There is only one selection of food that I am allowed to eat but this doesn't worry me at all as it's pretty yummy. I'm a lovely young cat with lots of affection to give and I love a good pat. The vets at Lort Smith have told me that I have FIV, this cannot be transmitted to humans or dogs but can be transmitted to other cats via saliva and blood. This means I will need to be housed as the only pet and live a strictly indoor lifestyle. This doesn't bother me though as it is safer for me to be indoors where I'm not at risk of eating something that I'm allergic to.
