About Flip
Hello, my name is Flip , I was born on 17 April 2015. My mum is a staffy mix and my dad is a Kelpie. I currently live with my 6 year old foster brother Digger. He is a Kelpie who is very calm and confident, which suits me great. Not to mention how patient he is with me. I LOVE other dogs so much I can be a bit much at times, I’m always trying to play and give kisses. My foster mum thinks I would best suit a home as an only dog or another dog like my digger. A home with children might be a bit too tough for me as I get so easily excited and stimulated. I am a confident little puppy with so much character. I am a very fast learner and I strive for strong leadership and guidance from both my human and doggy friends. I have met a few feline friends and my foster mum said I did great! Even when the kitten that was a little scared of me runs I didn’t even bat an eyelid.
I have been going to daycare with my friends, I have been learning appropriate socialisation with other doggy friends, humans and objects (like bikes, cars, skateboards and wheelchairs) I love people and cuddles and I am learning to spend small amounts of time without humans or other dogs.
I know how to sit and I am working on other basic obedience skills.
I am going great with toilet training and learning to walk well on the lead. I sleep in a crate overnight have not even had one accident. When in the house, I have a puppy pen where I love to rest on my favourite bed. My foster mum and dad like to take me to the coast, which is great as I love the beach!! The car ride is not too bad either, I sleep the entire way there!
I have been de-sexed and ready to find my forever family. If you think I might be the pup for you please complete an application form below and let my foster mum and dad know what you are looking for in a dog.
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website http://www.radarescue.org/online-application-form
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within one week of the adoption.
