My name is Loza,
I love baths, tummy rubs, snuggling, sniffing grass and watching humans do the weird things they do.
.
Although I am 7 I never had a real home before... I was used not loved. People wanted me to make puppies for them to sell so I was forced to be pregnant so many times and never allowed to watch my babies grow or care for them
properly.
.
As i got older I didn't get pregnant as easily and my humans got angry that I didn't make them so much money, they didn't want me anymore... they stopped feeding me and the mange and the fleas got so bad I just had to escape.
.
I ended up at a shelter with many dogs all looking for new homes but they fed me, bathed me and gave me medication for fleas and mange and told me things would get better that they would help me. When UNC came and got me they said that I deserve love, that I'm more than a puppy machine and that life could be filled with cuddles and walks and that humans would love me for me and not the money I could make them.... AND they were right!

I need new humans who will love me for who I am and help me continue down the healing path, I need to know you got my back and will be there through the tricky moments. I have so so much love to give and I just want someone to share my life with, is that too much to ask???

I have had some good social experiences with other dogs and would try living with another dog. No cats sorry.
