About Bailey on trial in his new home
Bailey has gone on trial in his new home.
Meet our beautiful Bailey a young male German Shepherd dog who was found wandering the streets riddled with fleas and worms and he weighed just 11 kilos at the ripe old age of 12 months.
Bailey was taken into care and driven straight to our vets and monitored initially to ensure he didn't have anything sinister going on until he gained some weight and could function normally. He has since come along in leaps and bounds and is now ready for his new home. All the time he was at our vet clinic and then in the care of his foster family, Bailey showed no aggression or fear and that, to us, is proof that Bailey is a very forgiving and loving boy who just wants to find a home with a caring and understanding family.
Bailey has been loved by all who have meet him and he has his own Facebook page - "Bailey's Progress". So he has his own fan club Australia wide and whoever adopts this young dog and takes him into their home and their lives would be expected to keep his Facebook page updates coming.
So we are looking for a family who will be dedicated and experienced with this breed and who will be prepared to ensure Bailey gets the best of everything. \ As Bailey has missed out on all the basic needs in the early stage of his life we would like him to go to a home where there are no other pets but plenty of human interaction. As he matures and develops of cause Bailey may enjoy the company of a fur friend. He loves people and would love a family where there are older children and someone who will continue to take him to obedience classes and where practicable involve him in the family activities.
Bailey is too special to be just left alone all day while the family are at work and because of his size and having missed out on the early stages of nutrition he will not grow into a large boned dog.
However, Bailey's heart and love of life and his gregarious personality is hug!!
If you feel that you can offer Bailey the best of homes then please contact Jo one of his foster Mums.
