About Gypsy ~ Kelpie (trial 31/7/15)
Hello! My name is Gypsy and I am a gorgeous black and tan Kelpie who is looking for my forever home. I didn’t have a great life before moving in with my foster family, but now I am such a happy dog and so appreciative of my new home. My humans think that I am about four years old and I can sit and wait for food on command.
I love playing with my foster sister, Nancy, who is also a black and tan Kelpie. She is a good influence on me and I have already learnt how to sit! We run around like mad, but I also like a pat and a cuddle and I am very gentle. I love Eddie, he is a 9 month old human that lives with us – I like to lick his toes when he is in his high chair outside.
I have never lived with cats before so I am not sure how I am with them, but I would love another dog to play with in my forever home as I am very active. Being a Kelpie, I need to be exercised every day – either with a big walk or a play at the dog park. I would suit a family with kids or teenagers I think! I am looking forward to meeting you – I bet you will fall in love with me as soon as you see me. Gypsy x

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
