About Foxie
I’m Foxie, and I’m a silver foxy lady. I’m looking for someone who appreciates the powerful bond of female friendship and will accept me and my gal pal Tess together. I’m 11 years old - that’s 82 years old to you humans - and I’ve still got so much love to share.
Take the time get to know me, and you will find I am the gentlest lady and have such a special soul. I promise I won’t be much trouble. A walk or two, and the occasional run will keep me in shape. I just need a family to give my love to.
Size: What sort of question is that for a lady?
Eyes: Dark brown, and oh-so wise.
Coat: My easy-care coat has a few greys coming through. But I’m all about ageing gracefully and embracing granny chic.
My interests: Snuggling on your finest crocheted blanket, girly chats with my fellow grannie Greyhound Tess, and I’m still up for zoomies when the urge takes me!
My skills: I’m a great listener and expert cuddler. But if your lap isn’t available, I’ll make do with some soft teddy bears to snuggle into.
My bucket list: Kennels are no place for a lady like me - all I want is a warm home and a couch to share with my bestie Tess.
My ideal match: I can see myself settling down with a fellow retiree. And did I mention as a golden oldie sanctuary dog, my vet bills are covered for the rest of my life?

Adoption details
Once we have found your new greyhound we will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
