About Turtle ...loves water! Reduced Fee!
Turtle is a laid back type of young dog, very loving and friendly to all that he meets. Turtle loves water, whether its the paddling pool or the river he has no fear and jumps in....lives up to his name!
Turtle has played and lived with a variety of other sized dogs while he has been in care. Turtle lives in foster care with a female staffy, and is submissive to her.
He has been around mini horses and sheep with no dramas with anything- he ignores any non-dog type animals including cats. However he is an exuberant puppy-minded pooch so better suited to similar sized dogs.
Turtle has happily followed my daughters around and joined in their games.
Travels fine in the car and walks well on the lead and he knows how to sit (most of the time!) Turtle weighs about 35kg.
Adoption details
Firstly you will need to complete an application with your name and address and contact details for the microchip records. Our online application form is available on our website http://www.radarescue.org/online-application-form
Or an application form can be requested by using the Email Carer feature on the pet's listing.
Please note that while we consider all applications in the order in which we receive them, our animals are not adopted out on a first come, first served basis. Our objective is to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable ‘forever’ home available to meet the animal's (and the person’s) characteristics and needs.
The final decision about which new home the animal goes to is made by the foster carer based on their knowledge and understanding of the potential home and the personality of the individual animal. Sometimes it may take several enquiries before you find the right RADAR furry friend for you!
We will need a non-refundable holding deposit of $50 minimum to hold a pet for you whilst awaiting everything to be finalised, however this amount is deducted from the adoption fee.
RADAR expects full payment on exchange of the pet or prior to it leaving on transport.
RADAR expects you to be responsible for transport costs. We can help source appropriate transport options or help find accommodation if you need to travel and stay overnight.
It is understood that if all goes wrong that you can return the pet safely and unharmed to RADAR for a full refund within one week of the adoption.
