Bootsy **Adoption Day**

ADOPTION DAY: Saturday 11th of July, 11 am - 3 pm at Best Friends Pet Store Cranbourne, Crn South Gippsland Hwy & Thompson Rd Cranbourne .
Adoptions prior to Adoption Day welcome. We can't bring all the kittens, so please contact us for a questionnaire. Cost: $ 200.- All our kittens are desexed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, flea and worm treated and come with a kitten pack.

Hello, my name is Bootsy, but since I came to 2nd Chance Cat Rescue I have made such a lot of progress that I should now really be called Slippers. You see, at first I was a bit rough around my boots, but since I started etiquette classes (which in my case would be “eticat” classes) I’ve become better known as Slippers, due to my elegant cat walk and my gentle nature.

Together with my sister, Bitsy, we were found in a garage when we were tiny little kittens. We were all alone, cold and scared. We have no idea what happened to our mum, we can’t remember her, we were that young! Just when we thought all hope was lost we were discovered and quickly taken to 2nd Chance Cat Rescue, where angels took care of us. They warmed us up, gave us food, but most of all they gave us love and security. All of a sudden we had a future again! What we didn’t know at the time was that these angels are called “humans”, but to my sister and me they will always be our saviours!

Thanks to all the love and care and generally the good life we have thrived and are now strong and healthy. Not just that, because we were more or less hand reared we are both incredibly focused on our humans, we just love them! We sit on their shoulders and purr as loudly we as we can. Another thing we can’t get enough of is sprinting as fast as we can! We have turned the house into our own private race court. Once we get going we are like “greased lightening”, nothing can stop us, except perhaps a nice meal.

Like my sister I am a tabby, but I have white boots. Also I am much more petite than she is.
We are looking for a safe haven that we can call our forever home. Nothing would make us happier if we could find that special place together, because we have an incredibly strong bond. We had a rough start in life, but we are confident that better things lay ahead for us. Will you consider giving Bitsy and me that bright future we so deserve?
