About Pearl
“I’m Pearl and I arrived at GR with my sister Biscuit. I’m only four years old and I’m as precious as my name. I am very playful, I’m just learning all about soft toys and boy are they the best thing ever! I’m looking for a home without small fluffies because they get me all excited, kids over 5 are ok, but what I’m really looking for is a family that likes to be in the kitchen. You see, I fancy myself as the first Greyhound Masterchef and I’m learning all about it by being helpful. I like snarfing…I mean taste testing ingredients, and I’m very good at clearing bench space.i have been told I’m very good at takeaways, and if you let me I’ll even wash the dishes (ok, so some people might not like dishes cleaned by a greyhound tongue but I’m very thorough!). If you’re a chef looking for an apprentice, or even just want someone to appreciate your culinary skills I’m your girl! Get in touch with the volunteers at Gereyhound Rescue to find out more about me info@greyhoundrescue.com.au

Adoption details
Once we have found your new greyhound we will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
