About Mya
Hi, it's Mya…I'm what they call a Wally’s mixed breed. I'm being fostered in a loving home along with my brother Yogi, another foster dog, host dog Daisy and 2 cats.
I love to spend my days exploring the yard and playing tug o war with Yogi, host dog Daisy and the two teenagers we live with. My foster mum has been teaching me how to sit and have mastered that skill (although sometimes I may suffer from selective deafness ???? ). I know my name and will come when called and am currently learning to do my business outside.
I'm also a snugglebum and love to curl up with my foster family for lots of cuddles and attention, or just at your feet. I would love to find a home of my very own, a place to call home and would be happy to share the love of a family with another doggie friend so that I had someone to keep me company while my family was out. This is of course not a necessity, as I would learn to cope with your whole undivided attention as an only dog as long as I was treated as a loving family member and included in your daily activities.
Being a young pup, I will need ongoing training so that I grow up to be a well mannered and sociable boy who will provide you with many years of love and cherished memories. Adopting a young pup is a big commitment, and involves everyone in the home to work together with consistent training and of course love. I'm a lifetime commitment…
To kickstart my training, Wyong Dog Training club has offered 3 free training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/ so please utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and me.
I'm booked in for desex on 23/6 and will be available for adoption from 25/6.

Please contact Erin via email only should you wish to meet Mya. Email will ensure a faster response.
When enquiring about Mya, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
