About Teddy-girl *On Trial in Her New Home*
*TEDDY IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Cute, cute, cute – yes there is absolutely no other word to describe this little poppet except cute! Teddy is a healthy, happy little dog who can be a bit shy meeting new people though quickly warms up especially to the adult/teen variety who she adores most of all – it’s not that she doesn’t like young children it’s just that they can be a bit too loud and boisterous for this sweet petal. \
Teddy-girl would be fine in a home where she’s the only dog but only if her humans were home a lot, otherwise she’d like a similar sized playful doggie friend. She’s also terrific around cats and wouldn’t mind sharing her forever home with one. Teddy’s lively and energetic though once she’s calm she really enjoys snuggling up with you especially on the couch while you watch tv - she thrives on cuddles and attention. She is a fast learner, and therefore very easy to train to visual and vocal cues and will sit and wait for her dinner to be served. She hasn’t spent much time on a lead in her previous life, so will need some practice with this in her forever home.
Adorable Teddy isn’t big on doggie toys though she does like you to throw a ball for her as you can see in her video. She’s a good little watchdog and will let you know if something’s not quite right in her world and at 5kgs she’s a terrific “take anywhere” size and travels well in a car.

Teddy may need some help in her forever home with her toilet-training just while she learns the household routine – a doggie door would certainly assist with this. \ Having Maltese in her she hardly loses any hair though she’ll require a good brush once a week and a bath as required to keep her smelling fresh – she may also need the occasional clip by a professional. Teddy would be best suited to an indoor / outdoor lifestyle in a home with secure fencing and daily walks or runs around the backyard, plus chicken necks to chew on will make her very happy indeed!

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
