About Sheeba on hold pending adoption
Sheeba on hold pending adoption.
Sheeba is approximately three years of age and is a stock coated female German Shepherd who has the most sweet and inquisitive nature.
Sheeba was surrendered to an animal shelter in Sydney and very quickly became the staff favourite. Sheeba is a fit and active dog and would love to be in a home where she will receive lots of exercise and stimulation. \ A couple of walks a day plus an off leash run would make her a very happy dog. She is lovely with people but has not been around children at this stage.
We have her in our care and will continue to introduce her to different stimuli. \ She has shown some reactivity with small dogs so would recommend she not go to a home with small dogs but is happy and social with her fellow rescue dogs who are a cattle dog and a german shepherd.
So Sheeba is good with large to medium sized dogs. If you can give Sheeba a loving home and have either owned a shepherd or had experience with large breed dogs then please contact Jo to discuss meeting Sheeba.
Sheeba is currently in care at Hornsby and her foster carer is ensuring she is house trained and given plenty of exercise and further lead and obedience training. Sheeba shares her foster home with her rescue mates would make a wonderful companion dog for a large breed dog and true to the breed a loyal, faithful and trusted companion.
Sheeba is not guard dog material and she would not cope being left in a backyard alone all day whilst her human pack are at work. She needs companionship with her human family and continued obedience training and in return her new owner will be rewarded with complete love. Please do not waste our time if you cannot provide these needs for her.
Sheeba has not been tested with pocket pets, birds or cats.
Medical notes
Sheeba is desexed, vaccinated C5 on heart worm prevention and will come groomed and hydrobathed prior to going to her forever home..
Sheeba is not for interstate transfer.
