About Boof (Cat Friendly)
Boof is a gorgeous gentle purebred English Bull Terrier. Boof was rescued from the local pound by Wally's Doggie Rescue after he was left in the overnight cages and not reclaimed by his owner.
Boof was taken into foster care, into a family environment with 2 children aged 6 & 8, 3 adult cats and 4 dogs. Boof is happy to co exist with them all, and particularly likes the female dogs that he comes into contact with. Boof is currently underweight, but gaining weight daily and will suit a household with a female dog companion and family environment. He is not an active dog, at all but does have the typical bully clown outburst and then goes to lay down on his bed. He does not jump up on the children and does not snatch the food out of humans hands. Boof is a real gentlemen amongst his doggie friends and humans. Boof can navigate stairs, but can not jump up into the car or anything taller than him, he is way to lazy for that. Boof is not a fan of slippery floors, and does have a phobia there. We have helped Boof overcome this by lining the walk way with a carpet rug.
Boof enjoys simple comforts of a nice soft warm bed, to sleep inside of a night time and be surrounded by his family members and may give the cat the odd lick clean but really isin't fussed by them. Boof is fully toilet trained inside the home and loves to spend his days sunbaking in the sun. Please note Boof is pure white and will require sunscreen daily all year round. Boof has great recall off lead, doesn't pull on a lead and throws a splash a Bull terrier stubbornness in there, to test your patience, like ALL bullies.
Wally's Doggie Rescue would prefer Boof's new family be familiar with the breed and have experience with the breed, that is widely misunderstood. Boof requires a strong leader, to know his limits in his new home. Boof would love a submissive female friend to love and follow around during the day while his family is at work.
Boof tends to be a fussy eater despite his breed, but does love his chicken wings with a Royal Canin biscuits.
Medical notes
Boof has had treatment to his left back leg, and injury is unknown what happened to Boof, before coming into care. He will have X-ray's and be available for adoption there after.

Wally's Doggie Rescue likes all of our rescues to be adopted into families that will continue their socialisation and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they are part of the family. This is particulary so if they are to be an only dog.
Boof is located on Central Coast of NSW.
Please contact Amanda via email only should you wish to meet Boof. Email will ensure a faster response.
When enquiring about Boof, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
We do our best to provide you with a clear understanding of our dogs needs and their temperaments, so please help us by providing as much information as you can about your home and lifestyle so that we get an idea if this is the right home for our baby.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
