About Uberto ~ Lab ~ Special Boy (on trial 17/8/15)
Meet ‘Uberto’, a 7yo Black Labrador X. A big, black, beautiful boy with eyes that will melt your soul.
The name ‘Uberto’ means bright mind, intelligent one. And true to his name, he is one intelligent dog.
Uberto has been through a lot in the past but hasn’t lost hope that someone out there will give him a home where he could live out his days happily. Where he will always be loved, cherished and understood.
He would love a home where he could be with you all day and night, by your side, as your loyal companion. He would sleep right next to your bed and in the morning when you woke, he would encourage you to take him out for his morning walk. He loves to walk every day and when out in the world, he would breathe in the bouquet of wonderful, fresh smells the new day has brought him.
He loves food and any tasty morsels would make him jump with glee. He wouldn’t even mind another female companion, a medium sized dog that was friendly so they could become best buddies. Children are scary for him so his forever home would be with just one adult or a couple because all he wants to do is just be with you.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
