Tilly

Tilly is a clever, friendly dog loaded with potential.

I wish she could talk so I could find out her story. She was rescued from a pound and her pound notes said: "a lovely dog who seems to have had a hard life. When arriving at the shelter she was extremely underweight and seemed to have been surviving in the bush for quite a while."

Since being in care with us, she has quickly returned to a healthy weight and really settled into the routine in the household. She is full of surprises. After initially pulling on the lead like a sled dog, she has settled into a lovely 'heel', trotting along and looking up attentively to her walker. She will sit and drop. The latest discovery is her talent for fetch.

She has lovely markings and always looks like she is smiling.

She gets along well with other kelpie-types in care and will come when called in the paddock.

Just a youngster, with many years of companionship to offer, she would be a wonderful addition to an active household with someone interested in dog training. Any time invested in her training will yield rewards - she is clever, eager to please and attentive.
