About Hugo
Hugo was rescued from the pound, and is a pure bred ragdoll. Not something you often come across at a pound, they are such beautiful cats and Hugo is no exception. We don't know why his owner would have given him up, he is just so special. We've gotten to know Hugo very well at our shelter this past month, so lets share some info on him.
Hugo is very purry and affectionate. He enjoys following you from one room to another, or lieing in the kitchen while you prepare meals. In fact, so long as he can keep an eye on you, he's happy. Nothing much phases him, he likes to be top cat whether that is through the window with dogs outside, or other felines. When carried, he likes to be held like a baby, cradled in your arms. Should we mention how stunning he is? Nah...
Hugo has been treated for fleas and wormed. He had cat flu but has since recovered, and now has a healthy appetite so is making up for the weight he lost while sick. This boy really ponged when he first arrived, but the desexing has sorted that out and he uses his litter tray 100% of the time. He is a very clean, well behaved feline.
Hugo would be happy as a single cat, or with other confident felines that don't mind him being in their face wanting to play. Mostly, he'd like someone who works from home or retired, because he craves human company all the time. Like with all our cats, we will only adopt to indoor homes or ones with attached catteries, for his protection as well as wildlife. If you think you can provide him with all these things, and are prepared for a high adoption fee to support the other rescues at our shelter, please apply. A home inspection may be required prior to adoption, as well as at least one meet and greet session to see whether he likes you.
Located at Glenorie, please visit www.PorschesRescue.com to submit an adoption enquiry form on Hugo's profile, if you have any questions or think you have the purrfect family for our special man.
