About Wolfie
WOLFIE
Wolfies parents died and he was left behind on the property with his little sister, an old scruffy jack russel. They survived there together, isolated with concerned humans bringing them food. We were contacted by a support worker of a friend of the couple who passed away and went by to pick up the two lonely creatures.
Initially we thought that Wolfie and Tess needed to stay together but soon realised that they had seperate veterinary needs and needed lots of quiet and attention to heal. Wolfie is a stunning dog with two different coloured eyes and interesting markings, he has a beautiful heart too and gentle nature. In the mornings as his foster mum wakes up Wolfie puts his giant fluffy paws on the bed and gently leans his head on them waiting for a little pat. He likes to talk too, he softly howls just once when he is waiting for brekky, it's all so wonderful being Wolfie these days.
Wolfie likes to chill out, he's such a calm, sensitive dog and we are looking for people that will spoil him in his Vintage years. He needs lots of affection, gentle walks by the sea and to be close to his humans. Wolfie gets weekly injections for arthiritis and is starting to run like the wind, we will be asking his new family to continue this commitment. He must be an indoor dog only, he is toilet trained and very well mannered, Wolfie would love to come to work with you and snooze in front of the heater. He must stay warm in Winter and eat high quality foods so that he continues to be a healthy Vintage Companion.
If you have room in your heart and home for this gorgeous, gentle fluffy dude please fill out an application on our Website unforgettablecreatures.org and let us know that you've done so by sending us an email at uncvictoria@gmail.com
We will not consider applicants looking for an outdoor dog or ones that work long hours, Wolfie had little human contact when his parents died, abandoned in their yard he was cold and very sad. We have huge hopes for Wolfie, we love him to bits and once you meet him you will understand why.
Medical notes
Wolfie is in good health, he does however suffer from arthiritis in his back legs and gets weekly cartrophen injections, this will continue in his new home.
