Sarge

Please meet Sarge (and yes, he thinks he is in charge!)

Sarge is 3 years old and is fun to be around; but like most teenage boys, he does forget his manners sometimes. Sarge has come a long way in foster care and has learnt to sit, stay, lay down, shake hands, 'on your bed', and walking politely on his lead, etc. He is doing well, but he is a Maremma, so does what he likes when he feels like it!! Continuing his training and possible obedience class will benefit Sarge, and as a bonus, he is highly food motivated.

Sarge is full of energy and personality and loves to play, but can be rough as he doesn't understand his size, so active family with older kids would be ideal. If you want a quiet lap dog, Sarge is not the boy for you. Being a Maremma, Sarge likes to use his outside voice whenever he feels the need to alert you to something.

Sarge can be picky with dog friends (usually those bigger than him) and interactions with cats need to be supervised. Sarge loves the car and enjoys trips to the beach or anywhere he can get wet.
