About Sandy
It's been a bit of a tough trot for me to find my forever home, oh by the way I am Sandy and this is my story.
As I was saying, I have struggled over the last few months to find a home, and my foster parents absolutely adore me but they really think I deserve a home of my very own.
See, I have a few set requirements which means that although all these people keep asking about me; I really only fit into a select few types.
I absolutely adore all types of dogs, and love to play and play and play and tumble and rumble and cuddle. So a home with another dog or maybe a few is essential in my new home.
I adore kids and people of all ages and sizes and also am friendly with cats, chickens and horses. I am so easy to get along with. I also love a good cuddle with some doggies, a car ride and a raw bone to chew for the day.
I am best suited to a RURAL based home, I love the space, the fresh air and also I do best with something my foster parents call "rural fencing" but I also come with a fancy gadget called a containment system for my new house. I sometimes like to wander and unfortunately, even to this day I need this electric collar system to keep my around. I always come back though; promise.
I mean my foster mum does worry a little bit when I go, and I like to strut my stuff right back into the house when I have finished my adventure.
I don't work too well in the suburbs or city as I tend to be able to get over or under all types of other fencing. I've tried, trust me.
I also do best in a home that allows me to have indoor access throughout the day, and of course indoor access during the night. I like to keep warm and snug with my foster parents and foster buddies.
I like a home that has someone home more often than not, I don't do too well by myself and may make a little bit of beagle noise when left alone. So of course this makes being rural more suitable as limited neighbours means I can sing and howl to my people and no one knows. Oops.
I am so easy going, I won't ask you for big long walks. I like to keep to myself, have a wander and a play and I also enjoy my food. That may explain why I am a little tubby. Thats what my foster mum says, as well as this horrible word called 'DIET"!
I am located on the Central Coast NSW and my adoption fee is $350 which also includes my very own electric collar boundary system! I am able to go interstate, but please remember that you must come drive to my foster home and meet me and maybe take me home with you if all goes well!
Medical notes
Happy and healthy girl who is available to go to her new home now!
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
