About Benji
Hi my name is Benji. I was in a bad car accident which fractured my leg, I was very lucky because SRV stepped in and saved it with a very expensive operation. You can see my story on SRV’s Facebook page.
I’m a lovely boy and very happy even though I’ve been through a hard time.
I would really like to go to a new home whilst I'm rehabilitating.
I need to go back to a vet in 7 weeks time (from today 4/6/15), it doesn’t have to be the vet who operated on me but if they are close to my new home it would be handy although any vet can give me a check up which SRV will pay for.
I'm house trained and slept inside at night with my family, I love the car and lived with a young child and a female dog. I don't think I like cats because I chase them. I would like to live with a family but I might accidentally knock little children over because I’m still a puppy which also means I need to go to obedience school. :)
Even though I'm good with another dog living with one whilst I'm getting better might be a problem because I don't want to injure the good work that's been done with fixing my leg.
Adoption details
If you think you can offer me a forever home please go to
http://www.staffordrescuevictoria.org.au/index.php/adoption-forms-6
and fill out the Adoption Request Form. You will receive an email acknowledgement within 3 days. If you do not receive any further contact after this please do not be discouraged. It just means that a suitable application was received before yours. We encourage you to contact Jan: jan.hutton@optusnet.com.au every 2-3 weeks to show you are still interested in adopting. As we will already have your form on file it will fast track the process when a suitable dog does become available.
Adopt one of our dogs and we are there for you for the rest of the dog's life. If you find you and the dog are not suited it is a condition of sale that the dog comes back to Stafford Rescue.
