About Jude
From a scrawny bag of bones to a super handsome vibrant young man, Jude's journey from country pound death row to loved family member is nearly complete!
After rescue, surgery, rehabilitation and foster, he is now ready to find his forever family.
Jude is a clever, loving, high drive puppy. He has no lasting ill effects from his rough beginning and requires no specialised ongoing care.
His breed origins are open to guesses, but whatever the combination he is going to be big, big big! Think Great Dane, Shepard, deerhound. Big!
Jude, will require a high level of engagement and inclusion in his new families life. Running partner, agility classes, dog obedience school, work mate, whatever your life involves, Jude is going to want to be an active part of it. . Jude is toilet trained, crate trained and is getting the hang of basic commands.
Jude arrived in care with a life threatening intussusception of his intestine. He received emergency surgery and has now fully recovered.
Jude is in care in Millgrove.
Please note:
Jude's adoption fee is higher than average. This is because we have spent over $8000 on emergency surgeries and medical treatments for sick and injured animals in the last 6 months alone. Jude's surgeries and care has cost over $2000. If we do not place higher adoption fees on desirable animals, to try and recoup a small fraction of the money we have spent, we will no longer be able to rescue animals. If you are not prepared to pay the stated adoption fee, we would request you refrain from making an enquiry.
Medical notes
Jude goes to his new home desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and flea and worm treated.
Jude arrived in care with a life threatening intussusception of his intestine. He received emergency surgery and has now fully recovered.
