About Mia
Did someone say Staffy luv bug?! Mia is typical affectionate Staffordshire bull terrier puppy!
Mia has a lively, curious and very entertaining personality. After a tricky start with leg surgery. Mia has a clean bill of health from our vet and twinkle in her eye. Mia is crate trained, with very basic commands (being a puppy and all) and very nearly toilet trained. . She will be an engaging member of any family, enjoying supervised play with kids of all ages and loving quiet time on the couch too. As with all puppies, she would benefit from continued puppy/dog school and regular socialisation.
Mia is great with other dogs and puppies, but a little bit too interested in cats for comfort, so would be best suited to a cat free home.
Mia came into care with a very nasty break to her leg, which took multiple surgeries to repair. She is now completely healed, but does now have a higher risk of developing arthritis in that leg.
Mia is in care in Millgrove.
Please note:
Mia's adoption fee is higher than average. This is because we have spent over $8000 on emergency surgeries and medical treatments for sick and injured animals in the last 6 months alone. Mia's surgeries and care has cost over $3500. If we do not place higher adoption fees on desirable animals, to try and recoup a small fraction of the money we have spent, we will no longer be able to rescue animals. If you are not prepared to pay the stated adoption fee, we would request you refrain from making an enquiry.
Medical notes
Mia goes to her new home desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and flea and worm treated.
