About Scruffy
Scruffy came into care with Claws n Paws on 31 May. He was a little shy at first, but is getting better as he is settling into his foster carer's home. \ He has been with his foster carer for a few weeks and in this time, we can see how his personality is changing. He is becoming more comfortable with the environment and with his carers. Now that both his siblings have been adopted, he is looking to his carers for company, running over to us when we enter the room and talking to us. He is also now enjoying a good cuddle & sleep on a warm lap, with some very loud purring! He is a very gentle-natured cat, but loves to explore around the house and chase balls and play with string like a good little kitten!!
His foster home has 2 adult cats, and he seems interested in making friends with them too. He probably won't enjoy being in a super-loud house, but general house noise doesn't seem to be a problem. He would be best suited to a home who understands him and gives him time to trust them - it has taken a few weeks for his full personality to become apparent to his foster family. Once he trusts you, you'll be able to see what a lovely cat he is. He likes company, and will grow into a good family cat. His foster family has fallen in love!
Scruffy uses the kitty litter and sleeps quietly overnight.
The adoption fee covers microchipping, desexing, first F3 vaccination and flea/worm treated. Scruffy is booked in for desexing on Monday 6th July, but can be taken beforehand if you are able to bring him back for the vet appointment.
Scruffy is the all black cat (with a tiny spot of white on the front of his chest).
